Lord of Change by AlexKonstad Lord of Change by AlexKonstad
A sculpture done from the warhammer 40k universe of Games Workshop. Sculpted in kneadatite epoxy and painted with vallejo acrylics. Wow, daily deviation, WOOT WOOT! Thanks for looking everybody. If you are interested, Sharpwriter and myself are working on a line of fine quality resin miniatures that should be available by the end of spring if casting goes well. Check back on his page as he'll be posting some concept art and such.

Daily Deviation

Given 2010-02-21
Lord of Change by ~akonstad is a wonderfully transcribed piece of work from concept art and paintings to a three dimensional piece. The colouration likewise really adds to the overall effect and stays along the same theme. ( Featured by Thebuild )

Incredible take on the Tzeentch look; really brings to life the visceral flesh change descriptions in the black library book: A Thousand Sons. Amazing!

WOW, and I mean wow. Really nice sculpt you cranked out there akonstad, haven't seen one thats surpassed the quality of GW / FORGEWORLD
Daemons in quite some time actually. And not by no narrow margin niether!
Really Impressed.....so impressed as a matter of fact that, myself being a high flying Daemon General on the Wargaming Tabletop, I sure would like to add one of these very Bad boys to my Tzeentch Army
Line if the opportunity ever presented itself.

Any chance you and yours are going to be doing some Mould making as it were and making this Sculp available for Purchase? If so I'd be slightly more than very Interested (!) in picking one up.
Drop me a line whenever it's convenient and let me know if this might be a reality in the forseeable future, I'd very much appreciate it. All my new Daemons I just picked up as part of the NEW RELEASE the other Day just seem a
little green now that I've set my eyes on this Frothing Monstrosity!
Thanks My friend, keep up the good work!

Best Wishes

UrienRakarthIII

DEMON!!!

Ask not the name of the enemy. Ask not his will, nor his Method. (...) Ask only for the strength to kill him! FOR THE EMPEROR ! ! !

;) Awesome paintjob!

one freaky looking monster alright! the many mouths and trippy colors kinda makes him look like one of Alex Pardee's creations.

if your gonna do wings make them look like they are melting, like chunks are fallen on the ground and turning into horrors and have like feathers randomly sprouting but make them mostly skeleton

really captures the mystical ever changing nature of tzeentch and is much more in keeping with the horrors and smaller daemons.

No prob. Here's what I know: he lived on some island in the middle of the sea, and he could transform into any creature whatsoever. A shapeshifter.

I really like all the mouths, very bizzare and horrifying like the tzentch flamers, gets the look of tzentch across really well.
